Military Fitness Challenge:
Branches of Strength

Branches of Strength is a military fitness challenge with the goal of raising awareness of and donations for two of our favorite organizations. The challenger will travel across Connecticut in a self-supported gauntlet of military physical readiness tests. To successfully complete the challenge, each readiness test must be passed according to the standards of each military branch.

The challenge will entail:

  • 5 Military Physical Readiness Tests
  • 2.8 miles of swimming
  • 13 miles of Rucking
  • 48 miles of biking

The challenge will have a time limit of 17 hours from the start of the first test to the completion of the 5th and final test.

To successfully complete all 5 military readiness tests the challenger will:

Run a total of 10 miles

Complete xyz push ups

xyz sit ups

pull ups

reverse crunches

20m shuttle runs
